Stone House Ooty is the official residence of the founder of Ooty John Sullivan. It is the first bungalow built in this hill station. He purchased the land from local tribe to built this stone house. It was also called kal bungalow by the locals. The house was built in the year 1822 and it is still there inside government arts college as a tourist spot in Ooty.
